Candy Cane Main Shop Main Street Kickoff

Main Street Gardnerville’s Candy Cane Main is a month-long campaign focused on celebrating all the holiday events in the month of December while encouraging our community to shop locally through direct retail sales at participating businesses or gift certificates geared towards building the perfect gift from the heart.
We have gradually added more elements each year, and this year we are creating the ultimate Shop Main Street experience! WE ARE EXCITED TO ANNOUNCE – the Borges Electric Carriage Rides will be in the district to transport shoppers during the kickoff shopping event on Saturday, December 2nd from 11am – 2pm.
Candy Cane Main – Shop Main Street Kickoff is a district-long shopping event like our very popular Third Thursday Wine Walk. It is held during the day PRIOR to the CV Chamber of Commerce Parade of Lights.
Like a TTWW, the community participants must register to access electric carriage rides and a commemorative Candy Cane Main Shopping tote bag. All proceeds raised from this shopping kickoff event will go directly towards our fundraising efforts for the Façade Improvement Grant Program. What is better in the season of giving than shopping locally and giving back to the community while you are at it?
